The city of Memphis has quite a couple of historical landmarks such as the Memphis zoo, Graceland, Sun Studio and the Memphis Rock N' Soul Museum. As for a random memory of living there i remember when i was rather young around halloween the zoo would set up festive decorations.it was some if the most typical stuff like pumpkins,skulls,spiders and so on as they would hand out candy to the dreesed up kids in these small plastic buckets along with a coloring book about being safe during the night before i would get tired and go home in a old family car being too exhasted to be screaming about candy. the only other story i remember vaguely was going to the National Civil Rights Museum.it was around a couple yaers ago where i last remember going to the place on Martin Luther King Jr. Day with my family and being told about the hotal where Mlk died at and then going to the gift shop to get books about him. in retrospect i just find it a bit funny to perserve the place a man died at and to them have stuff about said death.
